About this Service

By 2025, the per capita daily generation of solid municipal waste is expected to reach 750 grams, up from the current peak of 500 grams. With the country already facing serious and growing challenges of climate change , exacerbated by waste generation in an increasingly urbanized population, waste-to-energy is a crucial aspect of mitigation. Municipal solid waste typically consists of product packaging, glass, food waste, clothing and fabric, appliances, paint, batteries and similar items. Waste to energy developers and generators are playing a pivotal role in transforming this waste into usable energy. With advancements in corrosion control , flue gas control, fly ash management and the overall beneficial use of residual waste, the waste-to-energy proposition holds strong prospects.
